Here is a great story of how one city (Utica, NY) is welcoming refugees and new immigrants. I think you will find the stories of how other churches are welcoming and integrating newly arrived refugees very encouraging. It is particularly relevant since many of the people they are interacting with are Karen refugees. Wouldn’t it be great if Hamilton also became known as ‘the city that loves refugees’!
